'Apple Authorized Reseller' is a designation that is given to those retailers who are authorized by Apple to sell its products. Apple has strict requirements for retailers in terms of commitments to staff training, stock availability, and demonstration equipment, providing a superior retail experience for customers. Apple maintains separate authorizations in Macintosh, iPod, Apple TV and iPad product lines.
