Remote Assistance

If you have computer issues, but your computer still turns on and can connect to the Internet, you may be a candidate for Remote Assistance.  PLEASE NOTE:  this applies only to computers.  We cannot do anything useful with an iPhone or iPad without seeing it.

If you would like Remote Assistance, please call the store at 519-371-4300 and speak to a technician, or leave a voice mail indicating you would like remote help.  We will call to set an appointment time.

At the appointment time our technician will call you.  Please be ready to be on your computer.  We will email you or read you over the phone credentials for a Zoom meeting session, which will allow you to watch as we take control (with your permission) of your computer and attempt to correct whatever your issue is.

The charge for remote assistance is $46.00 for the initial assessment and up to half an hour's work. If more time is needed it will be charged at our standard rate of $92.00 per hour.  If we cannot repair your computer remotely we will make arrangements with you to get your computer into the shop to continue.
